Puppet Performance in Schools

Principal of St Lachtains Primary School in Freshford

“Miriam and her puppet pals held the children, ranging from Junior Infants to Fourth Class, in the palm of her hand for the entire show. We watched spellbound as she breathed life into her characters. Fantastic fun for childen and staff alike. Transported those of us who grew up with Judge, Mr. Crow, O’ Brien and Godmother back to our childhoods. Excellent value for money”.

Brendan Tynan, Principal of St. Lachtain’s School, Freshford after a performance in the school, enjoyed by pupils and teachers alike.

Shadow Puppetry in Schools

IMG_4039 - Version 2Miriam has been spending some time with students in Grennan College, Thomastown on a shadow puppet-making module. This is an ancient art with instant results-animated live visual entertainment with endless possibilities.
The students have had fun experimenting with this movie-like medium. From devising their own story-line, to making the puppets and directing their very own animated sequence with music, dialogue and backdrops.
